The Local Government Act 2019 and its statutory instruments prescribe a range of services that Council must provide across its region for the benefit of its constituents.

Territory and the Commonwealth. These services are not core services of Council as they are not prescribed by Local Government legislation, however Council choses to provide these services for the benefit of its constituents.

Commercial Services
We provide a range of services across the region that are on behalf of another Agency, and on a fee-for-service basis. These services are not core services of Council as they are not prescribed by Local Government legislation, however Council choses to provide these services to improve its overall financial viability, and for the benefit of its constituents, and the public in general.
